Suzuki Steps

Start your Suzuki journey with your child with our Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE) class for newborns through age 3. This class is designed for one on one parent/child engagement.

Babies and parents together will:

• Learn a sense of pitch
• Listen for ringing tones
• Be exposed to rhythms and beats
• Build confidence, character, independence
• Learn the key principles of the Suzuki Method​

Through parent/child interaction and class participation, students start to acquire attributes of trust, sharing, success, and communication. The goal is to provide a nurturing environment from birth that stimulates the rich partnerships that develop between parent, child and teacher. Using traditional nursery rhymes, action songs, lullabies and instruments, this class seek to build on the child’s natural delight in learning and lay the foundation for musical skills such as beat, rhythm, pitch and tone.
